What You Can Expect
On Your First Visit In Our Office
- Step One: All new patients are required to fill out a personal health/history questionnaire.
- Step Two: You will have a consultation with one of the doctors to discuss your health problems.
- Step Three: You will receive diagnostic chiropractic, orthopedic, and neurological examination procedures to determine if chiropractic care, spinal decompression, or physical therapy is appropriate for your condition.
- Step Four: Your doctor will advise you to the need of additional procedures such as laboratory and x-ray tests, if necessary.
- Step Five: If your case requires immediate attention, emergency first aid will be administered.
- Step Six: You will be advised as to a time you can return for your “Report of Findings” when your doctor will inform you as to your examination results and whether or not your case has been accepted. You will also be advised concerning financial arrangements and insurance coverage as appropriate.
- Step Seven: After you return and receive your report of findings your recommended treatment program will be explained to you.
- Step Eight: Treatments will begin and continue as scheduled until your condition has been fully corrected, or until maximum possible improvement has been obtained.
How We Are Different
From time to time, I am frequently asked “…what makes your office and the care you provide different from anyone else?” With a pause and a smile, I always say, “Come talk with our patients and see for yourself”. You see, even though it is true that we offer many different services at our office, there are probably other offices out there that may offer similar “types” of services. But as different as a well-cooked steak is from one restaurant to another, so is true with our care!
More importantly, it's not always “what we provide” that makes us different, as it is “how we provide it” that I believe sets us apart from the rest. From the moment you walk in, you will notice the comfortable setting along with the warm greeting from our staff at the front desk. We can already assume that you don’t feel well and going to a new office for help can sometimes be uncomfortable and we realize that. So, our goal is to make you feel as comfortable and welcome as possible.
Once we figure out what the solution is to your complaints, you will be under a personalized care program from that point on. Each staff member has a particular assignment in regards to your program. While one may be responsible for your scheduling, another may be responsible for your conditioning and therapy. Essentially, you will have a small handful of people working with you on different aspects of your program to achieve one goal: Success!
I am the coordinator or the “coach” as you may call it. And it is a working relationship from the time you start to the time you finish. More importantly, we have no desire to “band-aid” your condition. Personally, I believe that this type of treatment is a waste of time and not cost effective, and something we choose not to provide.
“Band-aid” treatment makes you believe you are better than what you really are, and allows you to ignore the cause of your problems which will in-turn get worse over time. Our purpose is to get you to maximum improvement and to “stabilize” your condition so that it doesn’t return! This is achieved by providing specific types of treatment tailored towards your specific condition. More importantly, remember that it not so much “What we do” as it is “How We Do It” that will make the difference!
At our office, we want to “Over Deliver” what we have promised! You will get the personal attention that you deserve, which is my personal guarantee!
